Stabilized by a central lee-board and wide rudder, flatties sailed into the open sea.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eEasy-to-build kit features plank-on-bulkhead construction and fine detailing. Keel and frames are pre-cut plywood, and planking is tanganyka. Fittings include brass eyebolts, mast hoops, rings and deadeye strops, cast metal cleats, photo-etched brass hull gudgeons and chainplate. Rigging and canvas sail material are provided.
